Stuart Haygarth

Stuart Haygarth’s work blurs the boundaries between art and design often uses overlooked or discarded everyday objects, breathing new life into them and creating stunning sculptures and sculptural ensembles.  Having started designing in 2004, Haygarth has appeared in the group exhibition This is Design at the Design Museum. Pieces of significance include Urchin (2009), a sculptural light piece that uses hundreds of spectacle arms and Millennium (2004), which composes 1000, exploded party poppers into an elegant light fitting.
